The U.N. General Assembly voted 128 to 9 with 35 abstentions on Thursday in favor of a non-binding resolution denouncing President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital. Key Arab US allies banded together against the US. US ambassador Nikki Haley is threatening UN member states and the U.N. with funding cut.
Two men have been arrested in Australia after driving into pedestrians in a Melbourne street. 14 people were injured. Police say there is no evidence or intelligence to indicate a connection to terrorism.
The Phoenix fire department says one person is dead and a second critically injured after a natural gas explosion destroyed a house. The fire spread to a second home. The cause has not been determined.
President Donald Trump was at Walter Reed National Medical Center to visit wounded service members. Trump is expected to return to the facility in the new year to undergo a physical.
