据悉，为帮助美国抗击疫情，马云宣布向其捐赠50万个试剂盒及100万只口罩。

Chinese billionaire Jack Ma, the co-founder of the online retail giant Alibaba, said he is donating 500,000 testing kits and 1 million masks to the United States to fight the spread of coronavirus.

The China-made protective gear and test kits took off from Shanghai's airport in a chartered cargo plane Monday morning, and will be handed over to the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) when they arrive.

除了援助美国和非洲外，马云公益基金会和阿里巴巴公益基金会还向日本、韩国、伊朗、意大利、西班牙等受疫情影响严重的国家捐赠了防疫物资，帮助控制疫情蔓延。

The Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Foundation have donated much-needed materials to regions suffering in the epidemic over the past few weeks, including Japan, South Korea, Italy, Iran and Spain, according to a tweet from the Jack Ma Foundation on Friday.

马云表示，在全球化时代，此次疫情是对所有人的巨大挑战，从过去这段时间中国抗疫所得的经验来看，快速准确的病毒测试剂还有医护人员的防护装备是阻止疫情扩散的关键物资。

Ma said the outbreak presents "a huge challenge to all humankind in a globalized world", and that he has drawn from his own country's experience that quick and accurate testing as well as protective equipment for medical personnel are most effective in preventing the spread of the virus.
