TRANSCRIPT】

This is AP News Minute.

US President-elect Joe Biden says "science will always be at the forefront" of his administration. Biden, who introduced his science team on Saturday, said the scientists "will ensure everything we do is grounded in science, facts and the truth."

India started inoculating health workers Saturday in what is likely the world's largest COVID-19 vaccination campaign. India is home to the world's largest vaccine makers and has one of the biggest immunization programs.

Around 6,000 people gathered in Vienna on Saturday to protest against government coronavirus measures. The protesters' motives ranged from economic reasons to conspiracy theories.

France's capital saw its first day of snow on Saturday as many Parisians enjoyed a day out around the city. The chance to build snowmen and throw snowballs is limited as the city is under curfew.
