New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman resigns on Tuesday after suddenly announcing his departure. Four women accused him of violently abusing them during intimate encounters. Their accounts were published in the New Yorker.

President Trump plans to announce on Tuesday whether he'll pull the US out of the nuclear agreement with Iran. Britain, France and Germany have been trying to convince the President to stick with the deal.

Two new fissures have opened up from the erupting volcano on Hawaii's Big Island. Authorities say there are now at least 12 fissures. And at least 35 homes and other structures have been destroyed.

Demonstrators built large Native American teepees in downtown Seattle. 14 demonstrators were arrested. They were protesting JP Morgan Chase's financial involvement with oil projects and pipelines.
