Hello this is Chiles Camel with the BBC news.

An international study estimates the pollution was linked to nine million premature deaths worldwide in twenty fifteen. The study analyzed global data about pollution related illnesses such as heart disease and strokes. Helen Brooks reports.

Research has analyzed worldwide health data to estimate the number of premature deaths linked with all forms of pollution, from traffic fumes to industrial chemicals. Air pollution was linked to six and a half million early deaths. Water pollution was the second largest contributor factor followed by exposure to toxins or carcinogens that work. Almost all of these deaths occurred in low and middle income countries where pollution could account for up to a quarter of early death. The author of the report says water pollution is being neglected on the global health agenda and deserves the full attention of international leaders.
