Hurricane Sally is approaching the Mississippi-Alabama state line, with landfall expected late Tuesday or early Wednesday. The storm could cause tornadoes, flash floods and potentially deadly storm surges.

 

Wildfires are turning the West Coast air into some of the worst and most unhealthy on the planet, according to some measurements. Dozens of wildfires have burned thousands of square miles in California, Oregon and Washington.

 

23 fraternities and sororities plus seven large rental houses near Michigan State University are now under a two-week quarantine. More than 300 coronavirus cases were reported among people affiliated with university over 16 days.
